Recovery Coach Community
Where hearts and minds connect and collaborate to put recovery first

Recovery First
Our Mission:
Recovery First – to share all pathways for recovery. Share recovery coaching and support Recovery Coach Professionals©. Create a community where we connect with a focus on supporting recovery and utilising recovery coaching.
Building an engaged community is an essential part of our mission and most activities are designed with this key component. We believe the key to tackling stigma and the negative impact of addiction is collaboration and connection within our communities.
Substance misuse directly impacts these communities, and organisations find themselves dealing with the increasing complexities it causes.
Our approach is too educate and encourage partnerships with the community and organisations to provide workshops, support and programme to those who need it, and to those who can help them.
We:
-
Have empowered individuals, enrolling them in a scholarship program for Recovery Coaches.
-
Facilitate recovery community connections to create collaborative opportunities.
-
Have free workshops and training for recovery allies, recovery supporters and recovery coaches.
-
Provided workshops and training to Leeds Recovery College – part of NHS trust.
-
Host the All Recovery Meeting.
-
Delivered training to designated recipients of the Phoenix coaching trust charity.
-
Worked with Kings Arms Project (homelessness charity) to train and implement Recovery Coaches.
-
Have directly supported the UK Recovery Walk in Newcastle 2022.
