A Call for Allies
-
Recovery is not about pretending the past never happened. It is about recognising that the past does not have to define the future.
-
Many people still carry shame, stigma, and misunderstanding around addiction. Families, professionals, and communities often want to help, but do not always know how.
-
This free Recovery Ally Training is for people who want to understand addiction better and become a more informed, compassionate source of support in their family, workplace, or community.
-
As part of ARC Fitness’s Rewrite the Story campaign, this session reflects a simple but powerful message: people are more than what they have been through.
-
Together, we can help create the conditions where healing, growth, and a new chapter become possible.

What Is Rewrite the Story?

Rewrite the Story is ARC Fitness’s 2026 campaign, created to remind people that they are more than their past struggles, pain, or mistakes.
At the heart of the campaign is the belief that recovery is not about erasing the past, but building from it. It is about growth, reflection, courage, and the support needed to keep moving forward.
This training forms part of that wider movement by helping more people become informed, compassionate allies to recovery.
